How to Disable BattlEye for GTA 5 Story Mode Mods on Steam, Epic, and Rockstar Launcher
BattlEye can be disabled when you want to run GTA 5 Story Mode with mods on PC. The correct method depends on whether you launch the game through Rockstar Games Launcher, Steam, or Epic Games Launcher.
Do not use this setup for official GTA Online. A game launched without BattlEye cannot connect to official GTA Online servers, so only Story Mode is playable while BattlEye is disabled. Before returning online, reverse the relevant setting and launch the game normally.

Epic Games Launcher
Before returning to official GTA Online, remove -nobattleye and disable the custom launch arguments setting so the game starts with its default configuration.
How to restore BattlEye before playing GTA Online
Use this checklist every time you switch from modded Story Mode to official GTA Online:
